veterans day assembly

School Happenings

On Wednesday, November 10th, Bluff students recognized Veteran’s Day with an  assembly outside around the flagpole with the Pledge of Allegiance, a reading about Veterans’ Day, a guest speaker and songs.  Thank you to William Bliss from the local Legion who shared what being a veteran means to him and how he served our country.  Also, thank you to our own Mark Landry who also shared his thoughts about being a veteran.  We salute you!  Bluff students honored family and friends who are veterans by writing their names on a star for display in the hallway.

The smell of turkey wafted throughout the building on Tuesday, November 23rd as students and staff enjoyed the annual Thanksgiving Feast at Bluff in their classrooms.  Thank you to all families who donated items for the feast.  Bluff paid it forward by donating leftovers and extra donated items to the Claremont Soup Kitchen.
