Bluff Beautification Day

Beautification Day

Students and staff dedicated time to beautifying Bluff’s school grounds on Tuesday, June 2nd.  Everyone lent a hand to pull weeds, trim bushes, rake, and pick up debris on the grounds to make our school look brighter.  There was also planting done in the garden beds, sprucing up of the Buddy Bench and planting of some new perennials.  This annual tradition not only strengthens the sense of community at Bluff  but also promotes project based learning and a sense of pride for the school.

PTO

The Bluff PTO met for the second time on site on Monday, June 6th.  Election of PTO officers was held with the following results  President:  Leslie Peabody,  VP:  Molly Deluca, Secretary:  Ray Hughes and Treasurer:  Jessica Benware.  Great ideas and plans are in motion to enrich and support Bluff students and staff as we look ahead to the next school year!  Please consider joining the group for its next meeting on Monday, August 1st at 6:00 pm in the Bluff Library.

End of the School Year

This year has brought with it somewhat of a sense of normalcy.  While the school still faced some challenges surrounding Covid-19, students were able to be here to access learning and have social interaction!  Bluff is proud of the many events that occurred throughout the school year…from the outdoor Open House all the way to Field Day.  Let’s finish the last week of school on a strong note- be sure to send your child to school each day.  There are important end of the year activities to wrap up a year of learning and celebrate accomplishments  in all of the classrooms.

It has been a pleasure to get to know the students and families at Bluff, and I look forward to continuing to serve as the principal of Bluff in the next school year!
